2. Summary

3. Hosting and server log files

This website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Hetzner.

When you visit the website, the web server automatically processes technical data: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer, and browser and operating system details. This is necessary for secure and stable operation and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest.

4. Cookies

We only use strictly necessary cookies (§ 25 (2) TDDDG):

No consent is required for these.

5. Participating in deals and your account

When you participate in a deal or log in, we process:

The purpose is to attribute and verify your sign-up through our referral link. To do so, we manually compare your wallet address or UID with the data the exchange provides to us as part of its partner program. We do not send any of your data to the exchange. The legal basis is carrying out the participation you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Note: wallet addresses and their transactions are publicly visible on the blockchain. Linking them to your email address or UID makes them personal data on our side.

We keep this data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion at any time by emailing admin@crypto-ref.com. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

6. Emails

We send login and confirmation links via the mailbox of our domain provider Lima-City. Your email address is transmitted to the mail server for this purpose. We do not send newsletters or marketing emails.

7. Contact form and email enquiries

If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process your name, email address and message to answer your enquiry. The message is stored in our database and forwarded to our mailbox at Lima-City. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a participation or your account, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Stored messages are deleted automatically after 12 months at the latest. Your IP address is only used briefly in memory to limit spam and is not stored.

8. Links to exchanges

When you click a referral link, you leave our website. The exchange's own privacy policy applies to any processing there. We have no influence on it.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Just contact admin@crypto-ref.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate (LfDI RLP), Mainz.
